The best thing about doing creative sessions is having the opportunity to take risks that I normally wouldn't take. In a session where the end goal is creativity, I feel more comfortable stretching my imagination and taking risks, and in this sesh I did just that.
I couldn't be more grateful to @bridgetd.mua for being on board for all of my crazy ideas and to @kittycait222 for bringing the fire in front of the lens! They both far exceeded my expectations and helped me create images I'm truly proud of.
For the first half of the sesh, the inspiration was full-on campy space cowgirl. I whipped out the alien for a few shots and even included an old hobby horse that I usually use for family sessions lol.
The inspo for the second half of the session started with 90s 3-D film glasses. I don't usually gravitate towards reds & blues in my work, so I wanted to push myself to embrace it, and I'm so glad I did. The red & blue color palette of much of David Lynch's work also served as an inspiration for my whole neon room in my studio.
At the end of the session, some amazing light bounced off the disco balls and created true 90s disco magic. I couldn't be happier with the results, and I hope you love them too!
